Sergio Aguero has insisted he will not rush back for City and put his World Cup dream at risk.
The 25-year-old has featured just three times for the Blues since January after picking up a hamstring injury during the 5-1 win over Tottenham at White Hart Lane.
He was reintroduced by Manuel Pellegrini for the Capital One Cup final meeting with Sunderland after a two-month absence, but looked off the pace despite City's victory.
Aguero followed that up by starting the FA Cup defeat to Wigan a week later and was then withdrawn at half-time against Barcelona three days later after suffering a recurrence of his injury.
